Hi beautiful human, I’m Adele! I’m a mom of two amazing girls, and I’ve been happily married to my wife for 12 years. Over the 21 years we’ve been together, communication has been our biggest challenge. Growing up, I was used to conflict and criticism, while my wife’s family avoided issues altogether. Despite our deep love for each other, we had a tough time communicating.

It took a lot of effort, understanding, and patience for us to get to a place where we could express our feelings without fighting or giving each other the silent treatment. But through all the ups and downs, we learned how to talk to each other in a way that made us feel heard and respected.

That’s why I started Happy Couples Connect. I want to share what we’ve learned and help other couples who are facing similar struggles. Whether you’re just starting out or have been together for years, good communication is key to a happy relationship.

On this blog, I’ll be sharing practical tips and strategies that have worked for us. From active listening to handling conflicts with empathy, I’m here to give you advice that you can use in your daily life.
